The LED unit in these headlights functions as a dual Hi-Lo beam, providing versatile lighting options. With a color temperature of 6,000 Kelvin, they produce an impressive 4,000 lumens of light power. Rated for an operating lifespan of 22,000 hours, these headlights consume only 25 watts and have a minimal draw of 2 amps.

 

The 1179 family of headlights features a classic domed lens, making them perfect for classic restoration and hot-rod vehicles. The lead-crystal glass lens does not oxidize, become hazy, or accumulate film like plastic lenses do. The added lead enhances the strength of the glass. Moreover, the prismatic lens ensures superior photometric light distribution. The four-time finished vacuum metalized steel reflectors improve reflection by a factor of 4 to 1. The LED assembly is protected by a high-density silicone rubber boot with venting, guarding against contamination and moisture.
